The compact mounted VIP 180 shredder is designed for use in vineyards and orchards and effectively shreds grass, shoots and branches up to 4 cm in diameter. The machine is aggregated with tractors with a power of 40–60 hp (29–43 kW) and has a working width of about 180 cm, which allows for high-quality processing of wide row spacings without damaging plant stems.

The rotor can be equipped with 16 heavy impact knives (bolt hole Ø 16.5 mm, weight about 1.15 kg each) or a set of 32+16 Y-shaped knives - both options provide intensive shredding and minimal vibrations during operation. Inside the housing there are 11 internal counter knives, which additionally shred plant residues. The frame is made of double reinforced 6 mm steel construction with a rounded "cold" side wall of 42 cm, so the shredder can work very close to bushes and trees.

The working height is easily adjusted using the rear leveling roller, and the opening rear hood simplifies cleaning and maintenance in the field. The basic distance from the center of the tractor to the center of the rotor is 84–97 cm, and thanks to the lateral offset, the working range of engagement is approximately 33–147 cm from the tractor axis, which is convenient for bypassing trunks, supports and other obstacles in the row. The drive is carried out from the tractor's PTO at a speed of 540 rpm via four V-belts, which guarantees reliable power transmission.

The dimensions of the shredder are 195 × 105 × 42 cm, and the weight is 459 kg, so the VIP 180 is characterized by stability and durability during intensive use.
