Description Manual lawn aerator
The "Smart Rain" manual lawn aerator is a tool specifically designed to improve drainage and "ventilation" of the lawn, as well as to trim the roots of the grass. It helps maintain the lawn’s health by facilitating the penetration of water, air, and nutrients into the root system. Recommended for small and medium-sized lawns, it can be used in private gardens, front lawns, or on small sports fields. Aeration is an essential process for both regular lawns and areas that experience heavy use, as it can enhance wear resistance and keep the lawn in good condition.
The manual aerator resembles a fork, but instead of regular tines, it features special spikes made of durable stainless steel. The spikes come in three types: solid – designed for simple puncturing of the lawn; hollow (tubular) – designed to puncture the turf with a cavity (to reduce soil compaction); and knives – for trimming the root system (especially useful in summer).
Our aerator is equipped with a convenient handle, making it easy to hold and control the tool during use. When using the aerator, you insert its spikes into the soil, press down on the handle (you can also press with your foot on areas with compacted soil) and lift, creating holes in the lawn. This process helps loosen deeply compacted soil, ensuring better access to air, water, and nutrients for the grass roots. The holes can reach a depth of 10 cm, with a diameter of 16 mm (when using hollow knives). Compact, easy to use, and requiring no electricity or fuel, it is environmentally friendly and perfect for small lawns or hard-to-reach areas where other types of aerators might be ineffective.
